Smart kitchen app Drop has announced a major partnership with international appliance manufacturer GE, with many more similar deals to come in 2017, according to the chief executive of Drop, Ben Harris.

The partnership will allow people to find recipes on the Drop mobile app and then preheat and monitor cooking remotely on GE ovens.
