Sky’s the limit for Carlow bike security firm

Company produces and supplies bike parking facilities

Cyc-Lok, a Carlow-based bike security start-up, is raising €2 million to fund a major US and European expansion.

The company, which produces and supplies bike parking facilities, is using the money to produce more lockers for new deals with a number of large multinational companies based in Silicon Valley.

It is also in talks with transport agencies in San Francisco, London, Manchester and Bristol, according to managing director Stephen Murphy.
