The North’s largest family-owned food and household goods business, SHS Group, has acquired health food company 3V Natural Foods.
The SHS Group had turnover of £468 million (€527 million) in 2016, up 23 per cent on the previous year. It owns well-known brands including WKD, Shloer, Bottlegreen, Merrydown Cider, Farmlea and Maguire and Paterson matches. It also distributes a portfolio of household names including Jordans, Ryvita, Nivea, Finish and Mars Drinks.
