Shares woe for small AIB investors
Small investors in AIB may not receive as many shares as they have applied for as demand to get involved in the bank’s privatisation has soared.
People familiar with the plans by the state to sell off part of its stake in AIB said the level of interest has exceeded expectations and some may only receive the minimum investment, which is €10,000, even if they have sought more.
