Samsung set for legal battle with Pelé

Pelé: unhappy about Samsung’s alleged use of a lookalike of him in one of its adverts

Samsung is facing a multimillion-dollar legal action from football legend Pelé, over claims that the electronics giant used a lookalike of him in an advertisement.

“The goal is to obtain fair compensation for the authorised use of Pelé’s identity and to prevent future unauthorised uses.”
