Ryanair will make job cuts based on performance
Airline to reduce by 20 per cent the number of aircraft based in Dublin
In an escalation of the industrial dispute at the low-cost carrier, Ryanair has sent a memo to all of its Ireland-based pilots saying it will seek redundancies based on performance and not length of service.
The airline, which has faced a series of strikes in recent weeks, sent an email to pilots yesterday with the subject line “Dublin based fleet cut” that included a notice issued to the stock exchange outlining plans by the airline...
