Roscommon man goes global with inventive farm machinery

When David Doran established Acres Machinery in Co Roscommon in 2015, his plan was to combine his agricultural background and engineering skills to design equipment that could cut costs for farmers.

Three years on, Doran is on the cusp of global growth, having partnered with Italian manufacturer Sitrex to market the multi-con crop conditioner he has developed worldwide.
