Robotics & Drives, the Mullingar-based robot provider, has expanded into collaborative robots which can interact with humans in a shared workspace.

The innovative Irish company was co-founded in 2005 by Ken McNevin and Stephen Nolan, with McNevin’s wife Sharon later joining its management team.

“Robots have not changed a huge amount in the last 30 years,” said Ken McNevin. “Controllers and processing speed have got better, but the actual robot has stayed the same....
