A fierce battle has broken out between two wealthy consortiums to take control of the Vaults, a new multimillion-euro tourist attraction in Dublin city centre.

The company behind the venture, Frontier Entertainment Ltd, went into examinership last month amid cashflow concerns just months before it was due to open.
