Rise in sponsorship spending spells good news for Onside

The Irish sponsorship market is expected to top €200 million this year – and consultancy Onside is poised to make the most of it, says founder John Trainor

The spend in sponsorship is continuing to rise in Ireland, with the market here expected to peak at over €200 million in 2018 for the first time ever. While sponsorship management consultancy Onside will continue to take a slice of that pie, it is also focused on worldwide growth in the year ahead.

“Going forward, the ambition for the business is being able to internationalise,” said the company’s founder, John Trainor.
