A member of the Gallagher family that controls the €271 million building firm Abbey has called for changes at the company, including the withdrawal of the firm from the stock exchange.

Peter Gallagher, the second eldest of the Gallagher siblings, said he would raise several matters of concern at Abbey’s annual general meeting on Friday and warned that the matter could end up before the courts.
