Retained losses down at Markland Holdings

Dublin development group Markland Holdings saw its retained losses fall to €1.48 million in 2013, down from €2.87 million the previous year, as the company recorded a pre-tax profit of €4.5 million.

According to accounts just filed, the company – which is owned by Sean Mulryan – saw its revenues fall to €28.3 million, down from €33.5 million, but also sold an investment property at a profit of €11 million and carried a provision for impairment...
