Most mornings Pat Phelan posts a picture of a cup of coffee on Twitter, wherever he is in the world. Last Monday, his coffee cup had the Empire State building in the background. Last Tuesday, it was the Flatiron building on Fifth Avenue in New York. Last Wednesday, it wasn’t clear where he was. But his cup was from Stumptown, a boutique coffee chain, that’s only in the United States.
