Desmond owns owns 26 per cent of Academy Music through LN Gaiety Holdings, his joint venture with Nation.
The company’s administrative expenses rose from £29.7 million to £36.9 million, while it’s wage bill rose from £7.8 million to £9.4 million as its staff numbers grew from 346 to 387.
