Anne Summers Retail Ireland had a loss of €1 million even though its revenues rose from €2.38 million to €2.4 million in the 12 months to the end of June 25 last.

The company had registered a profit of €149,269 in the previous year.

The company’s various operating costs rose, not least because it opened up a fourth shop last year on Henry Street in Dublin. That saw the company’s administrative costs rise from €2.1...
