Distribution arm drives revenue higher in first four months

INM says advertising market tough in early 2016

Independent News & Media (INM) has said that conditions in its markets remained tough in the first four months of this year, with continuing volatility in the print advertising market leading to a decline in overall advertising revenue.

Mr Buckley said INM believed it had outperformed the market in advertising and circulation and increased market share, while it had also identified savings to offset the drop in print revenue.
