Prices rise at Netflix to fund more content

22nd August, 2015
Analysts believe the Netflix price hike will not affect growth

Subscription streaming service Netflix has increased prices by €1 a month for new subscribers in some of its European markets, to raise funds to add more TV shows and movies.

“I don’t think the price increase will have a material impact on their growth trajectory, given it’s still a relatively modest sum versus most other pay-TV alternatives.”
