Plans to launch more social innovation funds soon

Government committed to match all private sector donations to SIFI up to €50 million

Social Innovation Fund Ireland (SIFI) which launched a $1 million social innovation technology fund backed by Google last month, plans to launch three more funds targeting education, healthcare, and children’s needs.

The government has committed to match all private sector donations to SIFI up to €50 million.

SIFI, which was created by the government to provide growth capital and supports to social innovators in Ireland, has already received a €500,000 donation from Google’s philanthropic...
