PJ Walls clinches lucrative Central Bank project

Deal is worth an estimated €80m to building firm

The Irish construction company PJ Walls has clinched the €80 million contract to build the new Central Bank headquarters on Dublin’s north docks, beating off five other firms for the business.

PJ Walls will be the main building contractor on the project, which will turn the skeletal site once earmarked for Anglo Irish Bank’s headquarters into a shimmering eco-building overlooking the Liffey.
