Pinterest: plans to allow users to buy products straight from its website

Technology company Pinterest, an online pinboard, has made a move into e-commerce, with the announcement that it will allow users to buy products straight from its website via “buy now” pins. Online payments company Stripe, which was founded by Limerick brothers Patrick and John Collison, will help to power the new Pinterest service.
