Petroceltic applies for shares to be suspended from trading

The move follows a petition to the High Court for the appointment of an examiner to the company

Petroceltic has applied for its shares to be suspended from trading"given the significant uncertainties in relation to the group's financial circumstances".

The exploration group applied for its shares to be suspended this morning on London's AIM (Alternative Investment Market) and the Irish Enterprise Securities Markets (EMS) where they are traded.
