Casey-led firm moves to diversify business
PCH, the global supply chain company founded by Corkman Liam Casey, lost its contract with Apple just before announcing last week that it planned to shed 1,500 jobs.
PCH will close a number of Chinese facilities as it repositions itself to withstand the loss of one of the world’s biggest technology companies. Apple contributed hundreds of millions of dollars of PCH’s annual turnover of $1 billion.
