Parcel Motel to deal with further planning queries ‘case by case’

The company was last week told that it would have to apply for planning permission on eight of its units in various locations around Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, which it had built on the assumption that they were exempt from planning permission

The owner of the nationwide chain of Parcel Motel delivery units has said it will deal with any further planning queries “on a case-by-case basis” after being forced to apply for planning permission on several units in south Dublin.

Parcel Motel, which is owned by Nightline Group, has 10,000 storage lockers in more than 120 different locations around the country, according to its own figures. The storage units are located in familiar locations...
