Revenue figures show that an average of more than 620 customers are using the new service every day
More than 50,000 taxpayers have updated their job or pension details online in the last six months, new figures from the taxman show.
Since September 10 last, taxpayers can register their first job, or inform the Revenue Commissioners about a new job and avoid emergency tax, via Revenue’s online platform.
“To date, more than 52,000 jobs and/or pensions have been registered using this new online service,” a spokeswoman for the tax authority said.
