Origin lowers earnings target due to bad weather
'Disappointing' trading as revenue falls 12 per cent
Agri-business group Origin Enterprises has lowered its earnings estimate for its current financial year after what it described as a 'disappointing' quarter.
In a trading update for the nine months to the end of April, it said underlying revenue for the most recent quarter was 12 per cent below the same period last year. It said recent 'disappointing' trading had been affected by 'highly adverse and unseasonal' weather conditions in Europe.

EY reports €393m revenues in Republic of Ireland for 2021 financial year
Revenues in the Republic increased 9.5 per cent for the year up to June 2021 to €393 million, up from €359 million in the previous year
