One in three used cars for sale come with debt

More than a third of all second-hand cars registered in the last three years still have debts attached when they’re offered up for sale.

Research by vehicle data firm Cartell found that 34 per cent of all vehicles registered in the last three years are offered for sale with finance outstanding.
