Craft beer is not in a bubble, but the sector is going to see substantial consolidation in the coming years, according to Seamus O’Hara of the Carlow Brewing Company.

Last week, O’Hara sold a 32 per cent stake in his company to the Spanish brewing business Hijos de Rivera, which holds 6 per cent of the Spanish beer market. He retains a cautious optimism about the sector.
