Denis O’Brien’s Roankabin may team up with a housing developer to target the first-time buyer market with prefabricated modular homes.

The prefab manufacturer last week showcased an €80,000 two bedroom “accommodation pod” for a family of five that it hopes to sell or lease to Dublin City Council to tackle the city’s homeless crisis.
