Torrens joins Swiss entrepreneur Dr Remo Schneider to launch Pontemed Ireland

Donegal nursing home owner Amanda Torrens has teamed up with Swiss-based entrepreneur Dr Remo Schneider to launch a new healthcare joint venture called Pontemed Ireland.

The new venture will bring technology developed by Dr Schneider to Ireland for the first time to strengthen the pelvic floor which helps treat incontinence, prostate surgery recovery and erectile dysfunction.

“There is nothing like it in Ireland,” Torrens said.
