New York Stock Exchange owner rules out London bid
Intercontinental Exchange, owner of the New York Stock Exchange, has ruled out a takeover offer for the London Stock Exchange (LSE). The Intercontinental Exchange announced on March 1 that it was considering making a bid.
“Following due diligence on information made available, ICE determined there was insufficient engagement to confirm the potential market and shareholder benefits of a strategic combination. ICE has confirmed that it has no current intention to make an offer for LSEG.”...
