The second phase of the Sprint Accelerator programme has been launched by Gateway, the incubation centre at University College Cork, with support from Bank of Ireland, Enterprise Ireland, Cork City Local Enterprise Office and Cork City Council.

Now in its second year, Sprint II has signed up 12 early-stage start-ups, including one that is developing brain monitoring technology for at-risk newborns and another developing a diagnostics platform for irritable bowel syndrome.
