Travel software group hiring more staff to cope with demand

Travel software company Datalex has reported strong growth in revenue and profits for the first half of this year, helped by new contracts with airlines such as JetBlue and its increased presence in the Chinese market.

Adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose by 22 per cent from a year earlier to $4.6m, as revenue climbed by 17 per cent to $24.4m. Profit after tax was $1.3m, up from $300,000 a year earlier.
