New Aryzta boss told business a ‘shambles’

The chief executive of Aryzta was told that the food company was in “complete shambles” after its latest profit warning.

The comments were made by Warren Ackman, a research analyst for the French bank Societe Generale during a conference call with Aryzta’s management team on Thursday to discuss the company’s latest trading statement. Aryzta warned that its earnings this year would be about 20 per cent below last year’s level....
