Pat Ryan is chief executive of business process outsourcing (BPO) company Abtran, which employs 2,000 people in Cork, Dublin, Kildare and India. Earlier this month, the company announced plans to create 350 jobs in Sligo, where it plans to establish a new north-western regional operations centre at Finisklin Business Park. Abtran’s clients span the government, transport, utilities and financial services sectors.
