Nescafé’s online move to Tumblr shows that there’s life in the old blog yet

It’s best remembered as a star vehicle for Mike Myers, but Wayne’s World is also a witty send-up of the often uneasy relationship between media outlets and advertisers.

In the 1992 film, local TV metal heroes Wayne and Garth sell out to villainous media exec Benjamin Oliver, initially ignorant of his plan to shoehorn awkward advertorial content into their irreverent late-night chat show, all the better to exploit its cult status.
