Nama’s treasure hunt: €1 billion of developers’ trophy assets reclaimed

State agency recovers vintage car and pleasure boat which developers tried to put beyond reach

Nama is closing in on recovering almost €1 billion of assets that boom-time property developers tried to put beyond reach.

It has recovered 130 houses, 272 apartments and 82 commercial developents such as shops and offices. Although Nama has not taken any helicopters or aircraft off developers, it has taken possession of a vintage car and a pleasure boat worth a combined €500,000.
