Mulrennan winding up Celtic Media subsidiary with assets of €850k

Celtic Media, the regional newspaper chain controlled by former business journalist Frank Mulrennan, is liquidating one of its non-trading subsidiary companies.

A notice filed at the Companies Registration Office last week said that Smith & Williamson had been appointed by the directors of Celtic Media Limited to wind the company up.

According to the filing, the company had assets of €847,329 and total liabilities of €17,427.50. Asked to comment on the move, Mulrennan directed queries...
