Movidius, the Dublin-founded technology firm, said it expects to ship “millions” of its ultra lower power machine vision chips after it closes deals this year with some of the world’s most innovative companies.

Sean Mitchell, chief operating officer of Movidius, said it was on course to “easily close to double” its workforce from 125 to 250 people over the next 18 months after announcing its first major deal of 2016 with Google.
