Moocall to shake up farming with birthing alert launch

The Dublin company Moocall is set to bring a heat detection and breeding management product for cattle farmers to the market later this year, with sales of the birthing alert system it launched for the sector in January 2015 now topping 23,000 in 36 countries.

The company has to date taken investment of €4.5 million from co-founder and chief executive Emmet Savage, Cairn Homes chief executive Michael Stanley, and Michael Smurfit and the Smurfit family trust.
