Monex teams with Spanish taxback firm

Kerry fintech processes 190 million transactions a year

Monex, the €100 million turnover Kerry fintech firm, has formed a joint venture with Spanish financial company Innova as part of its ongoing expansion.

Innova is a Madrid-based group that specialises in giving Vat refunds to foreign tourists who are entitled to tax-free rebates. Its taxback service operates in 11 countries including European destinations and China and Japan. Its customers include Spain’s biggest department store chain, El Corte Ingles, and major international retail chains.
