Mergers and acquisitions up 90 per cent in 2015

Merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions in 2015 were up by 90 per cent, new figures from McCann FitzGerald have revealed.

The number notified to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) rose to 78, up 90 per cent on 2014 and 110 percent on a three year average from 2012 to 2014.
