The Irish Stock Exchange has reported a pre-tax profit of €6.2 million for 2014, down from the €7.2 million recorded a year earlier.

However, the exchange reported a 9 per cent increase in revenue to €24.9 million.

In a statement, it said that it had enjoyed a “record year of activity” in its equity trading and debt listing markets.
