Managed funds weather storm
Industry grew by 1.5 per cent this year, with $2.605 trillion worth of cash managed out of Ireland
Ireland remains an attractive location for trillions of dollars in managed funds, despite significant headwinds that held back the rate of growth in the fund industry this year.
Independent research firm Monterey Insight calculated that the industry grew by 1.5 per cent this year, with $2.605 trillion worth of cash managed out of Ireland.
This compares to a 19 per cent growth rate in the same survey last year.
