FoodCloud wins €140,000 Impact Award

After winning a €140,000 award last week, social enterprise FoodCloud is set to extend its service to offer storage and refrigeration to the charities it works with.

The company, established in 2013 by two graduates of TCD, matches businesses that have surplus food – such as Tesco – with charities who can distribute it.

It won the Impact Award at the Social Entrepreneurs Ireland Awards last week.
