Making home the heart of healthcare
Free app helps families manage needs
Johnny Walker founded Dublin start-up Jinga Life in 2013 to develop an app that would help families to better manage their healthcare needs.
An Australian-trained interventional radiologist and nuclear physician, Walker had led a small team in the outback in the 1990s, providing mobile ultrasound services to pregnant Aboriginal women in remote communities.
The service evolved with the rise of the internet to become Global Diagnostics, a teleradiology enterprise distributing digital images around the world.
