Mainstream wins $40m for African project
Irish renewable energy heavyweight Mainstream Renewable Power has secured a $40 million cash injection from the World Bank, as it puts together the final pieces of a $450 million capital raise to fund its African building programme.
The money will be advanced through the International Finance Corporation, the infrastructure arm of the World Bank.
