Mail-order DVD firm not viable with streaming

Online movie streaming services like Netflix have made the concept less viable.

DVDRentals.ie, the company behind the now defunct Screenclick, is to be wound up after failing to find investment to keep the business running.

A service that posted DVDs to customers’ homes and had a number of high-powered shareholders, Screenclick was founded by Frank O’Grady, who held just over half the shares of the company, and Rory McNicholl, who held another big chunk of the shares.
