Lynk taxi app revs up for major expansion drive

App set to launch in Cork, Galway, Limerick and Belfast in coming months.

Lynk, the Irish taxi app that is challenging industry giants Hailo, is in talks to acquire two taxi companies as it continues its rapid expansion across Ireland.

Noel Ebbs, founder and managing director of Lynk, said the planned mergers would push fleet numbers over 2,500 drivers. Ebbs said this would help the firm achieve its three year target of 5,000 drivers.

Lynk is currently working on a twin track expansion strategy which will see a nationwide rollout...
