Loss recorded by firm behind Irish Examiner

Operating profit fell last year from €67,225 to €19,033

The company behind the Irish Examiner newspaper recorded a loss again last year.

Landmark Media Investments made a loss of €92,608 in 2014, an improvement on its loss of €697,919 in 2013.

The company, which also owns the Evening Echo, Beat FM and online site Breakingnews.ie, will continue to focus on reducing its operating cost base, according to the directors’ report.
