Dermot O’Kelly is senior vice-president for Oracle in Ireland, Britain and Israel, with responsibility for the company’s operations, growth and profitability in these territories. Established in California in 1977, Oracle employs 135,000 people globally, including 1,200 in Ireland. It recently announced plans to create 450 further jobs in Ireland in cloud software sales. The company sells technology to businesses in sectors including finance, telecoms and retail.
